Today was the best day ever in a very long time because:

WE WON STATE. So my team's California's ECON CHAMPS...well, for the AP Econ division anyways.

WE RECEIVED 150 DOLLAH EACH FOR FIRST PLACE!

In two weeks, we're most likely flying up to San Francisco for the West Regional competition -- ALL EXPENSES PAID. Hellsyeah, Chinatown, here I come.

Aaaand, finally, THE OFFICE RETURNS TONIIIIGHT. In a few mins, I'll be going to an Office-viewing shindig with Sahar & her neighbors.

I love how CNN gets a crisper, non-delayed (or maybe not as delayed) feed compared to other news channels for the State of the Union Address.

And this little pompous ceremony they have when the President enters:

I also like how the telly likes to focus on congressmen (and they really all do happen to be men) that look like they're falling asleep, lolol.  (They just showed McCain!) Those snarky camera operaters. :]

But I am irked by Cheney's stoic diabolical face glaring around in the background as Bush carries on with his speech all gallant-like and dramatically.

Sixteen hour time-flops are a bitch.

So is the prospect of going to school tomorrow.

Boo.

I love the holidays.

AHAHAHA. lmao. It's just slightly sad that I find that completely hilarious.

Our football team qualified for CIF! That hasn't happened in so long, lolz. We beat our rival team last night and the game was crazy hectic. I screamed, I think for the first time ever at a football game. It was fun. Liana, Alexa, Scott, and a lot of my freshman-aged oldies came. I argued with Inga over the (lack of) hotness of Cristiano Ronaldo. I giggled with Michael over Sahar's poetic lover.

Today wasn't a very productive day. I was supposed to figure out what to put on two peoples' CDs and get started on my English assignment. Instead, I watched Ugly Betty, The Office (twice) and Grey's Anatomy, and wasted a ton of time doing stuff that I can't even recall at the mo'.

Anyhow, omgahh, so much stuff to look forward to:
-Thanksgiving (BLACK FRIDAY + SHOPPING + FOOD)
-Dec. 6: DCFC!!!11!!!!
-Dec. 13: CHINA!

AHH.

I love weekends. This weekend involved a whole lot of nothing and it was absolutely amazing. I actually had enough free time to go to bed at 8:30PM last night and just lay there and listen to my iPod for an hour and a half. God, I miss being able to do that. I've almost forgotten how music sounds 28432905 times better through headphones than through the speakers on my laptop.

Tomorrow will be Monday. Dang.

HOLYCRAP. OMGOMG.

THE OFFICE PREMIERE WAS AMAZING! I seriously love this show to pieces.
